Mutton kothukari

Ingredients

For marinating

Mutton kothukari 500 gms
Turmeric 1 tspn
Curd 1 tbspn
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbspns
Chilly powder 1 tspn(or more)
Coriander powder 3 tspn
Garam Masala 2 tspn
Salt to taste

For sautéing

Butter 1 tbspn
Chopped onions
Curry leaves few
Chopped tomatoes
Chopped cilantro
Garam Masala 1 tspn
Freshly grounded pepper 1 tspn
First wash n clean the mutton...strain the water out of it...in a vessel put the mutton n add all ingredients given for marinating m mix well...let it marinate for an hour or more.
In a pressure cooker add the marinated mutton n pressure cook for 1 whistle on high flame n slow down the flame n leave it for 15 mins...then switch off the flame...after the pressure is released ...check whether it is cooked...if not leave it for another five mins...
In a kadai...add butter n saute the chopped onions n curry leaves...then add the chopped tomatoes...n saute them till they turn mushy...keep the flame low n add garam Masala n saute well...then add the cooked mutton n saute well ...finally add freshly grounded pepper n garnish with chopped cilantro... (Add a dash of lime juice before having it...its optional)
